This summer, Princess dove into engineering through two transformative programs: Cal Poly SLO’s Engineering Possibilities in College (EPIC) and Santa Clara University’s Summer Engineering Seminar (SES). At EPIC, she explored a range of engineering fields and discovered her passion for aerospace engineering while learning by doing in hands-on labs like metal casting. SES, a highly selective and fully funded program, gave her the chance to collaborate with students from around the world, complete creative engineering challenges, and even tour Samsung Semiconductor in Silicon Valley. Both programs not only strengthened her technical skills but also taught her the importance of empathy, creativity, and collaboration in solving real-world problems. Inspired by these experiences, she now feels more confident than ever in her path as an engineer and is committed to building a future that is innovative, inclusive, and sustainable.

Through Voices of LA: Youth in Action, she engaged with city officials and community leaders, learning firsthand how local government works to support and protect communities. Later, at the Future Latino Leaders Law Camp in Washington, D.C., she explored the legal field through site visits, panels, and a mock trial competition—an experience that confirmed her commitment to pursuing law and serving others.
